Have you heard about our weekly sunrise hike? If not, it's time to discover this unforgettable experience! It is definitely worth getting up early: in just 15 minutes, our guide Christoph will take you along the path to the summit of the Weißhorn. After an ascent of about an hour, paradise on earth awaits you: Enjoy the first rays of sunshine and a spectacular view.

Häusler Sam – family-friendly – idyllic

Your hike starts directly behind the hotel on trail no. 9, which leads you through the forest to Bewallerhof. Here, turn left and follow the S-Sam trail towards Häusler Sam. A cozy mountain hut surrounded by picturesque nature awaits you. A highlight for families: Children can discover various animals and enjoy playing in the wide-open nature. The return route follows the same path back for a relaxed finish.

Lake Carezza – easy – family-friendly

Your hike starts directly behind the hotel and takes you along trail no. 9 towards Bewaller. Keep right and follow the approximately 7.5 km flat forest path, which is also suitable for strollers, until you reach the beautiful Lake Carezza. The lake may be small, but it is renowned for its turquoise waters and the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites. After your visit, you can choose to return the same way or take the public bus (the bus stop is located just above the lake). Of course, we provide free bus tickets and current schedules for you!

Deutschnofen – panoramic – pleasant

Start your tour with a short walk to the bus stop 300 meters away. Take the public bus to Deutschnofen and get off at the Pfösl stop. From there, walk back parallel to the road and turn left to follow the panoramic trail. At the next intersection, keep right; Pass by the Schlernblick house and enjoy the stunning views until you reach the Weißbamerhof. For a great rest stop with a fantastic view, turn right towards St. Helena Church. Return to the Weißbamerhof and continue to the Moserhöfe. Cross the road and follow the path behind Untermoser towards Bühl Hof. From there, head back to the village to Café Bar Luise, where you can take the public bus back.

Diverse – breathtaking – enjoyable

Start your hike by walking from the hotel to the Oberholz chairlift. Take the lift up to the forest boundary, where an impressive 360° viewing platform awaits you, offering spectacular views! Follow trail no. 22 until you reach the large wooden marmot.

At this point, decide whether to extend your tour towards Passo Feudo on trail no. 22 or descend to Mayrl Alm. From Passo Feudo, you can hike down to Zischgalm and return to the hotel via the Obereggner Almenweg no. 9 (approx. 3.5 hours).

If you choose to descend to Mayrl Alm at the marmot, you have two options: The easy trail no. 23 behind Mayrl Alm, which leads back to the Oberholz lift (approx. 1 hour), or the second option, trail no. 9, which takes you directly back to the hotel (approx. 2 hours).

Rosengarten – varied – adventurous

Start your tour with a short walk to the bus stop 300 meters away. Take the public bus to Welschnofen and ride the König Laurin cable car up to the Kölner Hütte.

From there, hike along the Hirzel trail no. 549/552 to the Paolina Hütte (partial sure-footedness required). After a well-deserved break, take the Paolina chairlift down. Continue towards Lake Carezza (trail no. 6). After visiting the lake, cross the suspension bridge (located above the lake near the parking lot) and follow trails no. 6/16 to Moseralm and the Tschein chairlift. This lift takes you up in altitude.

Once at the top station, walk for 5 minutes and take the König Laurin I gondola to Frommer Alm. If time permits, don’t miss the Tiers panoramic cable car ride – the view is absolutely worth it! Return to Frommer Alm and take the Laurin I cable car back to Welschnofen, then the public bus back to the hotel.

Rosengarten – picturesque – relaxing

Begin your tour with a short walk to the bus stop 300 meters away. Take the public bus to Welschnofen and ride the Welschnofen Laurin I cable car up to Frommer Alm.

From there, follow trail no. 1B to Messnerjoch and continue on trail no. 7 to Haniger Schwaige. Enjoy the stunning views and the local cuisine at the Schwaige! For the return journey, take the same route back to Frommer Alm. From there, ride the Welschnofen Laurin I cable car back down and take the public bus to return to the hotel.

Zanggen – unique – breathtaking

Start your tour with a short walk to the bus stop 300 meters away. Take the public bus to Lavazè Pass. From there, follow the gently ascending path towards Zanggen. The trail then becomes steeper as you climb to the summit, where a breathtaking view awaits you.

Descend via the ski slope paths towards Obereggen and follow the Almenweg no. 9 back to the hotel. Along the descent, you’ll find the first rest stops (Weigler Schupf, Mayrl, Epircher Laner). This hike combines spectacular landscapes with a physical challenge – an unforgettable experience!

Latemar – impressive – rewarding

Start your hike with a walk to the Oberholz chairlift. Take the chairlift to the forest boundary at 2,096 m. From there, hike for about 2 hours on trail no. 18 and no. 516 through the Gamsstallscharte to the Pisa Hut.

The return route takes you over Passo Feudo down to Zischgalm. From there, follow Almenweg no. 9 back to the hotel. This challenging hike offers not only physical demands but also spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Alternatively, you can shorten the hike by returning from Passo Feudo via the panoramic trail no. 22 to the Oberholz lift.

Rosengarten – challenging – majestic

Start your hike with a short walk to the bus stop 300 meters away. Take the public bus to Welschnofen and ride the Laurin I and II cable cars up to the Kölner Hütte.

From there, follow trail no. 550 over the Tschager Joch (sure-footedness required in some parts) and continue on trail no. 541 to the Cigolade Pass and the Rotwand Hut. Next, take trail no. 539 to the Paolina Hut.

For the descent, follow the Hirzelsteig trail no. 552 and 549 back to the König Laurin II/I cable car. Ride the Laurin I cable car down to the village, where you can take the bus back to Obereggen. This challenging hike rewards you with breathtaking views of the majestic Dolomites.
